Eligibility Requirements
Nominees
must
live within the geographic boundaries of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sumter counties).
Nominees for Woman of Promise must be under the age of 40 by March 3, 2027.
Recipients must be present at the 2027 Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon in March.
The nominee must exemplify extraordinary civic, professional, and/or philanthropic commitment and achievement through gifts of time, talent, and treasure, making her community a better place.
The nominee must be a role model for girls.
The nominee must demonstrate a commitment to advocacy in improving the lives of women and/or girls.
Nominees are
not
required to have been or currently be a Girl Scout.
